What we are trying to achieve and what outcome we expect: Promoting Ai productivity and learning. Having an all in one Ai everything superstore. Furniture, Gadgets, Car accessories, audio equipment, security and much more. A brand you can trust TGE!
Took a look at the store. There’s potential here but a few things stand out that would hurt conversions pretty badly right now.
The biggest one is the product images. Several of them still have the supplier watermark visible (you can see “OLA ESPORTE” on the smartwatch photos). That’s an instant credibility killer. If you can’t get clean images from your supplier, at least crop or edit those out before uploading.
The other trust issue is the “Rated 4.9/5 by 12,000+ Customers” badge on the homepage. For a brand new store with no established presence, that kind of claim actually works against you. Visitors aren’t stupid and when the numbers don’t match reality it makes everything else on the site feel dishonest too. Better to remove it entirely until you have real reviews to show.
Right now the store is trying to be too many things at once. The homepage sells a smartwatch, but the navigation promises AI furniture, smart lighting, robotics, and home security. A first-time visitor won’t know what this store is actually about. If the smartwatch is your lead product, build the homepage around that and keep the other categories as secondary. Stores that try to sell everything usually end up selling nothing.
A couple of smaller things. The URL is still on myshopify.com which looks unfinished. A custom domain is like $12/year and makes a real difference. Also, the store name “TGE” doesn’t match the product name “NovaTech” anywhere on the page, which adds to the confusion.
What’s your plan for driving traffic to this? That might help narrow down what to focus on first.
Your idea is great, but your homepage isn’t communicating that at all. Start working from there.
