Hello, i got a warning from the google search console "Review snippets structured data issues detected’ kindly help me
Topic summary
Google Search Console flagged “Review snippets structured data issues” on a Shopify store’s product pages.
Context: A review snippet is the star rating and average score shown in SERPs (Search Engine Results Pages), pulled from structured data on a page.
Findings:
- At least one product in the leather wallets collection lacks required structured data markup for reviews.
- For the “RFID Secured Ladies Purse,” the review content appears hidden and the ItemReview field is missing, triggering errors.
- Shared screenshots compare the current result versus a correct demo; images are central to understanding the gaps.
Recommendations:
- Contact Judge.me (the reviews app in use) support to correct the markup and expose required review fields.
- Alternatively, use a structured data app that integrates with Judge.me, then disable the AggregateRating checkboxes in Judge.me’s settings.
Status: No confirmed fix yet. Action items provided, but the issue remains open pending changes and revalidation in Search Console.
Hello @obaidbadsha ,
Review snippet is a combined average review stars and rating score of reviewers generally shown alongside each other. It is a short excerpt of a webpage that is shown in the SERPs.
As far as I know, it is issue with product reviews:
-
First product of the leather wallet collection on your store isn’t markup with structured data https://isiro.ca/collections/leather-wallets/products/rfid-secured-ladies-purse
-
The second thing is the review for RFID Secured Ladies Purse is hidden. ItemReview field is missing from the review for users that’s why Google marked it as an error.
See the preview down there, there is a space for the review which is missing.
