Revoked payment method for a just created subscription

I am trouble shooting a failed subscription create job where customerPaymentMethod is null. After using the showRevoked field, I saw that the customer payment method was revoked at the same time as subscription contract creation.

How can this happen? The newly added revokedReason field is null.
