Hi All,
I’m having trouble figuring out how to change the product image background without modifying the theme. I tried editing code that I found from discussions of similar issues, but it did not work. Possibly since Ride is 2.0?
Right now I have a black header with white lettering which I like. My product images have transparent background and one of them is mostly black, so there’s minimal contrast. I would prefer to have some sort of control over the product backgrounds, either universally on the entire theme or even independent to each page.
Product background also would preferably have single color, gradient or image options.
Thanks

yes please share color code at product page so i will guide you
Ok so I’ve figured it out slightly. Some of the work can be done with modification of the primary, and background 1/2 colors etc. Is there a way to add more selectable color options to the theme?
I was able to change the product images on the front page by adding “inverse” to the “cards” theme setting. This however was not reflected on the product page, which is transparent to “background 1 gradient”. Even stranger when the images are selected (and full screen) they are over “background 1”. So depending on what page on the website you are on, the product image background could be 3 different colors… wild. I guess this might be able to be figured out without modifying code, although still a process.
