Hello, I have around 100 products that are to have different discount rates applied to them . We are looking to run a private sale. so need advice on how i could achieve this ? Setting up automatic discounts natively would mean it gets applied even for normal customers and cannot keep it private.
for example i have product a at 35%, product b at 40%, product c at 45% and product d at 50%. I want to use one single code to run the discount, so if customer were to add any of the product, depending on how much discount has been setup, it identifies and adds it automatically without having to use separate codes for each discount level.
To set up different discount rates for a private sale while keeping it exclusive, consider using an app like Automatic Discounts & Gift or Discounted Pricing. These allow you to create a single discount code that automatically applies the correct rate based on the product added to the cart.
This way, you can maintain privacy for your sale while offering varying discounts without needing separate codes.
@rkamath , native automatic discounts does not let you target specific customers. I suggest our app, Discount Bot, to apply automatic discounts based on customer tags. You can choose to apply or not apply discounts based on tags (among other things).
We totally get the challenge. Setting up varying discount rates for different products with a single code can be a bit tricky in Shopify since the default discount settings aren’t that flexible.
