Running Paid Ads for New Shopify Store -- No Conversions

Hi there,

I recently created a new Shopify store, luxurywellness.shop.

I also hired a freelancer on Upwork to overhaul one product page to (hopefully) receive conversions.

You can view this overhauled product page here: https://luxurywellness.shop/products/energy-strips

Right now, I am running paid ads via reddit to the above product page. However, even after 40 or so clicks, I am not receiving any conversions or add-to-carts.

Any feedback on the above page? Looking forward to hearing some second opinions!

Hi @divinesacred1 ,

I’m Kate from PageFly, the Shopify Page Builder app. It’s thrilling to see how far you’ve come. I noticed you’ve decided to run ads on Reddit instead of choosing another platform. While that’s an interesting choice, I have some suggestions to help optimize your store:

1. Research competitors

You can visit the Shopify Shop web, search for “Energy Strips”, and then explore some of the most reviewed shops to learn about their tactics. For example:

Your product page indeed contains all the necessary information, which is fantastic. However, it tends to be a bit lengthy.

The hard truth is that visitors rarely read through all the details provided. Therefore, my suggestion is to streamline your product page by summarizing the essential information within the first 2-3 scrolls. Subsequently, showcase the product reviews prominently.

2. Display reviews in the front page

Showcasing genuine customer testimonials prominently on your homepage can significantly influence new visitors. Give the proven impact of your products and encouraging new customers to make a purchase.

3. The featured products should be displayed right beneath the hero banner (homepage)

This allows visitors to immediately see what’s on offer and straightforward presentation encourages visitors to take action, contributing to a seamless shopping experience.

Clear pricing, including both one-time purchase and subscription options, enables easy decision-making.

4. Display your product analyst or quality certificate in the homepage, or make it as accessible as possible.

Ensuring it can be viewed directly without the need for downloads. The fewer steps customers need to take to verify the quality and safety of your products, the quicker they are likely to make a purchase decision.

5. Display a short review in the product page first scroll.

Including a succinct customer testimonial in the initial view of your product page can be highly effective. This strategy offers potential buyers a quick insight into the benefits and satisfaction experienced by current customers.

Presenting such positive feedback early on the page, along with the key product features and certifications, aids in building trust and can prompt faster purchasing decisions.

6. Showcase your product used by the real people

This not only personalizes the experience but also allows potential buyers to envision themselves using the product.

I believe these suggestions will help optimize your store and conversion rates. If you find my suggestions helpful, please let me know by giving them a thumbs-up or marking them as a solution. I’m always happy to help.

I wish you the best in your endeavors. Keep up the great work!

Cheers,

Sticky header is recommended, as it makes it easy for the user to directly jump to the menu at any point of time while they are navigating through the Site. Other significant observations for store optimization are as follows:

  1. Try reducing the size of your logo, it takes up a lot of space and thus makes the home page less user-friendly.
  2. You can also install one of the most popular apps Growwave which is an all-in-one marketing platform that helps store owners increase conversions with ease.
  3. You should add terms and conditions and FAQs if any, again these also help in building search engine content.
  4. Make sure your social media pages open at the new tab instead of the same tab. This will ensure your customers stay on your website while looking at your social presence.
  5. Taking someone to the cart is a challenge. So to make them buy from your site, add a longer product description as it leads to better SEO ranking in Google search. Ref article from Shopify

I hope you find these suggestions helpful in enhancing your store’s performance and providing an improved experience for your customers.
