So we have products on our store where the product title has changed several times, and each iteration of the title shows up as a line item in a “Sales by product” report, what we really need is a “Sales by product (id)” so we just see the totality of sales per product ID regardless of what the title was at the time. How can we go about producing this kind of report in the Shopify backend?

You can run the normal Sales by Product Variant SKU report. Just remove the product and variant title columns and add product and variant id
That works, thanks! I suppose there’s no way to have this same consolidated view but show the latest product name on the line as well? We ideally do what the product name shown, just not duplicated
Not in Shopify analytics - they are using the name at the time of sale.
