Sales not seen om my website

Hi,

I am having trouble seeing the sales i’ve put in my shopify shop. I can only see them in the shoppingcart. Now i’ve seen some posts here that say you go to your product and than you fill in the comparison prizes. But i don’t see any option to do so in my account. Is this an issue because i only have an basic shopify account?

Hi, @Chantal17 . Can you tell us more detail about what you’re trying to do? I just want to make sure I fully understand so I can give you helpful advice. If you are only seeing your items in your cart, this means the order has not been completed. Only completed orders will appear in the ‘Orders’ part of your Shopify admin. Orders that have not been completed can be found by going to Orders > Abandoned checkouts in your Shopify admin.

Hi Erin,

I am sorry…i’ll try and explain better. I have put some of my products up for sale. And i did that in the area of my shopify where i can put in the different sales. But i can only see the amount of the sale, when i test it, in the shoppingcart. I don’t see it in my store on the website with the product itself. I just see the old prize.

Could you share some screenshots or links to a product you are trying to update? Including the price you are seeing and the prices you want to see. This will help us understand what you are seeing on your store.

Hi Shay,

I did talk with live chat support…but they could not help me. It was because i have an basic account. But that just makes me sad cause i can not upgrade my account to almost 500 euro’s each month.

She was going to send the development team the question how to integrade it into the basic account so we can also have more benefit of shopify.

So for now…i have products on my website that are on sale, but my customers will not see the sale. and that is an issue. On the picture below…there should be an option to put in comparison prices

i see many with the same problem here in the shopify community. So i am not the only one who has this issue.

Hey @Chantal17 thank you for following up about this. I think I understand the issue you are facing, but I want to confirm. I do see from your screenshot that your admin appears to be in Dutch, you may find more support in our Dutch/NL language forums if you prefer that language**.**

It sounds like your business may be affected by the price change indication directive required by countries in EEA. We have a bit more information about this in our Help Center and Changelog, the links are below:

European Price Indication Directive

Changelog - Compare at prices hidden in Europe

Is this the problem you are facing? If yes, then you can manage this in your Shopify Markets settings. Allowing compare at prices to show, or managing which markets have compare at prices. This information is also in our Help Center using the link I provided. This is not plan specific, and should not require a plan upgrade to gain access to.

Hi Shay,

Thank you so much for your reply. I checked everything again…and i think i found it. I have to open the variant of my product and there i can put in the comparison prices. So i do this manually for every product and it’s variant products…it’s a task…but worth it when i will be able to show the sales on my website.

So i hope my search can also help someone else in their Shopify journey

Wishing you a great morning/afternoon/evening :hugs:
