shopify is collecting sales tax in states that we have not met the nexus criteria in. We did not select for those states to start collecting sales tax. When we go into de-select them, they are not selected. Why is shopify collecting sales tax in states they shouldn’t? HELP!!!

- which state/s you currently have a physical or economical nexus in
- and which state/s are incorrectly charging tax.
Furthermore, can you confirm if your store is new to Shopify and which tax set-up it is using (registration-based or classic)?
