Let’s say I have 3 variants of a product and 1 or more sell out. I then delete the variants no longer available. However almost without fail the save button at the top right does not go away after I click it. The only way to make it actually disappear is to refresh the page. Most of the time the variant changes are saved, occasionally they are not. I tried Chrome, Safari, and Firefox and am experiencing the same annoying behavior. Does anyone know why this is happening or even better, a fix?

This behavior is still persisting and is highly annoying. It’s also happening more frequently now. Any advice?
It has been happening to me too, for several months now, every time I edit a product. Changes to title, description, tags, etc. seem to not trigger the issue regularly, but updating variants in any fashion seems to trigger it without fail. Also happens to me in Firefox, Chrome and Safari. I usually just go back to the previous page, accept the “changes will not be saved” dialog box and when I return to the page, changes have generally been saved, but not always.
I would also love for it to be resolved as it’s adding time onto otherwise relatively simple tasks, when I have to go back and double check that changes did save.
Here it is August, 2023. I am new to Shopify, and am having this problem. If anyone has a solution or workaround please share.
