Is there a work around to save cards on file and charge at a later date? We are a rental platform and need to be able to charge late fees, damages, etc.

I know Stripe offers the 3 workflows we need below but not clear if Shopify will allow this sort of integration. 1. Authentication & Capture

  1. Customer checks out from Shopify store front. Card is saved but not charged. Card is charged when perimeters are met.
  2. Save Card on file
  3. Incase of damages or non return card is saved and can be charged any amount at a later time
  4. Connect
  5. Vendor is paid out at specified time for specified amount automatically

My client is looking for a rental app with this functionality, are you planning to add this functionality to a currently available app?

Were you able to find a way to save cards on file with Shopify? We are a rental platform as well and are needing this in case our products are damaged.
