Scaling a dropshipping store

Hello all, so I have 2 questions would love if anyone could give any advice to both

  1. Ive been dropshipping this one product for a couple of weeks, and Ive been running tiktok ads with 30$ budget daily. Ive been able to get 1-3 sales everyday but nothing more than that. I sell the product for 25$ I was wondering if anyone could give advice on what I should do to increase sales daily. Do I increase ad budget or…?

  2. I also want to get into organic marketing, but I was wondering what do I do to get off of the zero followers mark. I have been posting tiktoks and instagram reels but because I have 0 followers I barely get any traction on the videos. Do I start like following people to get follows back or? Like how do I start a tiktok or instagram account from 0 and get followers as well as views from that?

For ads that generate a positive ROI, scale those as high as you can go. For ads that do not generate a positive ROI, experiment with them, A/B test, etc to see if you can turn them into winning ads.

Organic marketing, you can start a blog on your site that targets people in your audience. For building a social media presence, there are a lot of strategies out there, I think the best course of action would be to hire a professional for at least a couple months to dial in a strategy, but if you don’t want to do that, blogs, youtube videos, courses, all can help you learn.

With marketing it’s basically doing a bunch of experiments, learning, analyzing, scaling the experiments that turn a profit, and dumping or pivoting on the experiments that do not work.

There are ad platforms that you can pay on conversion, you can seek those out for a no risk traffic generator. Also, referral programs are great because you get people promoting you and you only pay on the sales they make. I share those + some other tactics here: 7 Shopify Automation Tips to Level Up Your Store

Reference: I used to own a Shopify store that I started from scratch then exited 7 years later, I’ve been working with Shopify stores for over 10 years in various areas, now just make apps and consult.

Keep learning, keep experimenting, grow a real business with branding and a community, and you will have a successful business. It’s great that you’ve already gotten sales, that shows proof of concept, now you just need to scale and locate your customers.

Good luck.
