Scammed buying seo plugins for 219$, need help!

Hello,

I have purchased an SEO PLUGIN TOOL ADVANCE for 219$ and its been a total scam!!

The store is completely denying it and not accepting to send me a real file or a refund.

The store is Dreamsiteagency.store

The package i have purchased was SEO PLUGIN TOOL ADVANCE for 219$ and the file they sent was less than 2kb and all of them were CSS and html tags with absolutely no actual coding in it and a console.log showing everything was done and its been successful (just to fool the users).

I need help and cannot get in touch with any human support, what should i do?

Since you got it from a Shopify store, you’ll have to deal with the store. Shopify is just the system behind it. They provide the basis. You can report scammers.

Welcome to the communty but sorry to hear about your experience.

As @Nordalux said, treat it like a regular Shopify store and report a merchant.

For a refund, only your bank can help you.

But I have to ask, how did you decide to spend money on that tool? Did you compare with other tools, read some good reviews?

First, it is not on the official app store, so they can claim it is all-powerful, but there is no one to control that.

To me, that site looks very scammy, as for web design experts, their design is so bad. Not sure how you could read any text as that blue on white has such a bad contrast. Domain it self is just over 2 months old, and there is a lot of content and “tools”. They might open up a new store if this gets closed.

I could not find any company info, no email, no address, no phone. In terms, there is no even the country. But at least they have no refund policy page.

On the product page, there is not a single screenshot of the actual app, nor what you are getting for $219, just promises.

Again, sorry to hear about your case. I do hope you get a refund somehow, even if it is hard.
