Is it possible to scan the barcode on the home screen and have the item automatically added to cart instead of having to tap the search bar, scan barcode, select item from result?
It should do what you want if the Barcode is in the variant Barcode field.
The only time we have to tap and then scan is when the Barcode is in the
variant sku field or probably any other field than the Barcode field.
Nothing happens when I scan a barcode on the home screen. Only way I can pull up an item is touch the search bar then scan the barcode. Unless feature only works with socket barcode scanner?
Hi - Did you ever find a solution to this? Wondering if we need to add a suffix to our scanner? We are not using the socket one but are using another bluetooth scanner.
Yes, just got to bite the bullet and buy the expensive barcode scanner they support. I went with the socket scanner.
