I have set up search and discovery for a collection page but hid the auto generate products . I now see all of the other products on the site are showing auto generated products. I only want it for 1 particular catagory. can I hide all other products ?

The first step in displaying auto-generated product recommendations for a single collection is to go to Search & Discovery > Product Recommendations and disable the auto-generated recommendations in general. Then, use custom rules to manually activate recommendations for the collection or product. You can now place recommendations anywhere in your store thanks to this.
