I was doing management on my store and the Search & Discovery app all of a sudden is not visible on my anymore store and I can’t find a way to make it visible again I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it was no help

I’m happy to take some time to see if we can get the Search and Discovery App visible in your shop again! Can you tell me a bit more about where the app is missing from - is it missing from your admin, or from your shop?
Can you try the following steps to see if this makes it visible again:
- Try logging into your store from a different browser and see if the app appears then
- Try clearing your cache and cookies by following the instructions at this page, and see if it appears
Get back to me when you can with the requested information, and after you’ve tried those steps. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for your reply.

This is Ricardo from InventoryHero app, I faced a similar issue in the past and someone from Shopify reached me out saying they have some scheduled releases which may cause some temporary issues. Please take that into consideration.

I appreciate you providing me that screenshot. To be clear - how are you trying to add these recommended products? To be clear, you’ll want to be doing this through your ‘Search and Discovery’ app, which can be found under ‘Apps’ in your Admin. When I’m reviewing the instructions on how to add products to your product pages as recommendations, I see the following steps:
Steps:1. In the Shopify Search & Discovery app, click Product recommendations, and then click Add recommendations.
- Select a product that you want to customize product recommendations for.
- Select up to 10 Complementary products.
- Select up to 10 Related products to recommend. Set the product to display only the custom recommendations or to display both custom recommendations and automatically generated recommendations.
- Click Save.
The reason why I point out these instructions is that they don’t make a specific mention of needing to access your theme editor to add these recommendations.
Please, give the steps outlined above a try, and let me know if you continue to have any troubles.

I found another help document that outlines the specific section that you’re looking for. I’ll link it for you here!
Based on what’s being outlined in those instructions, the section that you’re looking for should be titled ‘Related Products’ and not ‘Complimentary Products’. I’m noticing in your screenshots that a section by either of those names doesn’t appear, but there is a section you have in the screenshot titled ‘Product Recommendations’. Have you checked this section to see if the products you’ve added via ‘Search and Discovery’ appear under that section?
One of the reasons why this section may not be appearing is because you’re using an older theme, and not one of our new ‘Online Store 2.0’ themes. If the products you’re looking for from the ‘Search and Discovery’ app aren’t appearing under the ‘Product Recommendations’ section for your ‘Product Page’ template, then you should download a fresh copy of a 2.0 Theme (like Dawn) and then see if the section appears. If it does, then your theme isn’t compatible with showcasing the products you’ve wanted to recommend via the app.
