Hello. I’m trying to edit a theme before making it live. I am planning to use the Trade theme, and I am playing with the Search & Discovery filters app.

I run a very large music/band/merch website, and need to create a custom filter option to sort the t-shirts I carry by band name, movie name, tv show name etc, but can’t seem to figure out how to get it to work. I have hundreds of different bands that I carry, movies, etc.

This is my second time posting this, as the first time I did not receive any help.

May I suggest to update code these steps:

  1. Go to Store Settings → custom data → Add metafiels ( band name, movie name, tv show name etc). Example I created the width metafield on my store.

  1. Go to Products → add data( band name, movie name, tv show name etc) for each product
