is there a way to pick and choose which filters are on what collections?

The default filter system shows the same filters across all collections because it pulls from your product data globally, but if you want certain filters to appear only on specific collections, you’ll usually need a theme customization or an app that supports conditional filtering. Some advanced filter and search apps like Boost, Product Filter & Search, or Smart Product Filter let you create custom filter groups and assign them to individual collections so each collection can have its own relevant set of filters.

that really stinks. I don’t use third party apps. I will look to code it myself somehow but not sure I want to create api calls
