Search results different on different devices

Hi

We are having a problem with our search results when searching on SKU. Some devices seem to return the correct result but other devices return 27 unrelated products.
There doesn’t seem to be any logic between browsers etc i.e. it can work fine for one user on Chrome and not work for another. Also, it works on one users iPhone and not another.
For instance, the search work correctly on my work Mac on Chrome but does not work on my home Mac on Chrome.
The search URL string is the same across all instances.
