While attempting to search for a product from the store admin (admin/products), the search bar attempts to search after every new key is inputted. This in turn, causes a hiccup whereby some of your search query is not captured by the search bar. For example, if you attempt to search for “Picnic Basket”, you’re actual search query may be “picni bskt”, thereby not getting any search results.
Is there any work around for this, other than copying and pasting your search from another application? We have users who are doing hundreds of searches a day and this can be very frustrating.

You can try clearing your browser cache and reloading the Shopify website, or disabling or temporarily removing plugins in your browser, and check if this improves.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have verified that it is not a client side issue as it occurs in incognito/inprivate windows with Firefox and Chrome, as well as on multiple workstations. All of our browsers are up to date and it does not appear to be an extension/addon conflict either. It is my opinion that this is a Shopify search issue. We have about 45k total products, so perhaps stores with less products may not be experiencing this issue.
