Seeing the number of actual items in Collections

Hi

So when one clicks on COLLECTIONS on the shopify app, it gives you a list and it states the number of PRODUCTS you have in each Collection, but not the number of acutal ITEMS in total in that collection (ie including the variants), like a sort of inventory, and that would be SO useful! and it would be so great on the shopify desk top version too.

Equally, when you go into INVENTORY, you get a list of all the indivial items of a PRODUCT but would be so useful to get the number of individual items in each COLLECTION

Are these things your developers could look into please?
