Seeking advice on displaying sample artwork

I have a website that I currently selling original artwork and prints on my website. I would like to advertise my commission work by displaying past commissioned pieces (homestead paintings, portrait work, etc.). These would not be for sale, just simply used as examples. I would like to have them displayed in a similar fashion to my products (being able to display unlimited items on the page, being able to have more than one photo for each item, etc.). I tried to simply create a new product collection but ran into the problem that products have to have a price set in order to save.

Any useful suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @RClaytonJr

You could set the price for those commissioned pieces but have a quantity of 0. But that probably won’t be enough.

Setting new product and collection template might be a good idea. For those “products,” you can remove the price and add it to the cart block.

And also add small note like " Previous work… contact me here…". Also, each of the commissioned pieces could have a product tag so it would be easier to target. For collection, you would need to add a small piece of code to check if the product has that special tag and then hide the price and add to cart button.

You can also do a Locksmith app for that but could be too much for that one feature.
