My wife and I are embarking on an exciting journey with Shopify, where we sell our organic and handmade soap bars.
We’re searching for ways to improve our store’s functionality and enhance our customers’ experience. Specifically, we’re looking for features that are not readily available with Shopify’s basic package, such as:
Restock Notifications: “Notify me when it’s back” feature.
Wishlist
Social Login: Enabling easy one-click login using platforms like Google, Instagram, or Facebook.
Sales Analytics: Tools for understanding customer behavior through sales funnels.
Post-Purchase Review Invitations: Automatically inviting customers to write reviews.
Additional Features: Any other capabilities to help us improve our store with minimal upkeep.
Considering we currently handle fewer than 30 orders per month, with an aim to grow to around 100 orders in the coming year, we’re seeking budget-friendly solutions. Is there a single app that could offer all these options? Or would we need to invest in multiple apps?
Your insights and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
It seems to have a large amount great reviews and while not exactly cheap, does have a free trial.
Also, for the additional features, I should mention that I just launched an app that helps merchants display products in interactive ways that stand out and can even help conversion rates. For instance, if you have any images on your store that feature multiple products at once, using our app, you can tag each product in a visual way and make it easier for your users to find a specific product! Hello! Congratulations on opening your store! Unfortunately, I don’t think there is one app that helps you with everything that you’ve mentioned.
For the first point, Judge.me is one of the most widely used review apps in Shopify and they have a free plan. I think they also address the post purchase review gathering.
We have a back in stock alerts app as well as a wishlist app that can help you address the 2nd and third points! Both apps have a free plan (and 30 day free trial for paid plans) that you can use to try out the apps and see how it works for you.
What exactly is your use case for social login? I can recommend an app accordingly
For sales analytics, Shopify itself has a lot of reports that you can use. Here is also a guide from Shopify on this
With respect to additional features - Maybe you can look at discounting? cash on delivery? gifting related add ons?
