Welcome to the community, but please take this topic as a guide to make a new topic on your own. Not to post here ![]()
Also, seams you did not read the whole topic so I will repeat
“But, I would add mandatory: Read 20 topics from Store feedback before posting. Even if that is in the rules,” search before posting," but almost no one does it."
And when Iook at your store I want to scream too ![]()
@gigijeremiah22 Hi Gigi, Did you make use of products research before the products startup?
With 5000 visitors and no real sales, I would look less at checkout first and more at the first 5 seconds.
Right now the store feels like a very broad product list. A visitor sees Welcome to our store, Browse our latest products, and then a mix of coverups, jewelry, accessories, and product names. It is hard to understand what the store is known for or why this is the right place to buy.
A few things I would test.
- Replace Welcome to our store with a clear promise. Example playful jewelry and easy vacation style picks for everyday gifting.
- Pick one strongest category to lead with. If jewelry is the main margin or strongest visual category, make that the first path.
- Move from Shop all to guided paths like gifts under 50, beach outfits, charm jewelry, mom gifts, or vacation accessories.
- Product titles should start with what the item is, then the style. Some names feel fun, but they do not help a cold visitor decide quickly.
- Add trust near the top shipping time, returns, secure checkout, where you ship from, and a short founder note.
If traffic is already arriving, the next job is making the store feel less random and giving buyers one clear reason to stay.
Checked your site properly — good news first: it’s not a trust problem. You’ve got a real About story, full policies, secure checkout. It doesn’t look sketchy.
So 5000 visits + zero sales points to one thing: wrong traffic. That usually means cheap ad networks or bot-ish visitors who were never going to buy. 500 real visitors beat 5000 of these. Where’s your traffic coming from? Dig into that first.
Two quick fixes I spotted:
- Your “About Us” link just reloads the homepage instead of opening the About page. Kills your best trust builder — fix today.
- Your homepage has almost no real text, just taglines. Google and AI have nothing to read, so you’re invisible in search. Add a line or two: what you sell, who it’s for.
But check your traffic source first — that’s the real one.
