Seeking Feedback to Improve My New iPhone Case Shop with No Sales

Hi all,

I launched my online iPhone case shop 2 months ago and have yet to make any sales. My shop is called Coversie and sells uniquely designed iPhone cases (florals, abstract prints, etc).

I have run ads on Instagram and Facebook, and optimized for organic search, but am struggling to convert site traffic into sales.

If anyone has a moment, I’d hugely appreciate feedback on my site coversie.com and advice on what I can improve to start generating sales.

Are my designs appealing? Is the site user-friendly? How are the product descriptions and images? Does my branding need work, or maybe prices is too high?

I’m feeling a bit discouraged with no sales so far. Any constructive criticism or tips on what has helped your shops would mean a lot. Thank you!

Store looks okay, probably some small improvements that could be made but overall looks good. A few things:

  1. The product descriptions are all identical. While it can be a tedious process to create individual descriptions it is important for SEO purposes to have well crafted product descriptions that contain related keywords even if they are only slightly different. You’re limiting your opportunity to be discovered via search engine by having them all contain the same keywords/content.

  2. would recommend adding the quick add option to the collection pages for easier browsing of multiple cases, incentivizing a purchase.

  1. I think this may discourage a perspective customer from adding to cart, which is only the first step in a successful purchase. I think you might have better luck by removing this message from the product pages and adding it to the cart page instead.

  1. Paid Ads/Marketing

Be sure you are following up with customers via email marketing to keep them engaged and gain new customers. Perhaps try some paid advertising via social media.

But overall the site looks good, probably just are not gaining the necessary traffic to make sales. Good luck!

Thank you so much for taking the time to review my store and provide such thoughtful and constructive feedback. I really appreciate you offering specific and actionable suggestions for improvement.

Hello Coversie,

Thanks for reaching out to the community!

I went through your website and also checked the website using PageSpeed Insights, and would like to present the following suggestions:

  1. Improve the speed of the website: The website does not have good speed on both mobile and desktop devices, so here are some tips for you to improve your website’s speed:
  2. Compress large images on the website
  3. Remove dead and unused JavaScript and CSS
  4. Reduce the number of redirects on the website
  5. Implement AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages), which is an opensource HTML framework that allows Google to store cached versions of the pages in the mobile server that reduces the loading time of the website on mobile devices
  6. Implement lazy loading for large images and advertisement
  7. Utilize CDN to reduce the distance between the server and the user browser1. Ensure that the links on the website are descriptive and give adequate information to the users
  8. Check and resolve the browser errors on the website

Hope it helps!
