I’m currently working on a Shopify app and looking to integrate a reliable email service for transactional and notification emails.

Could anyone kindly suggest which email service packages you’ve used or recommend for Shopify app development? I’d love to hear about your experiences—especially regarding ease of integration, deliverability, pricing, and any Shopify-specific features or best practices.

I’m using AWS SES. It’s a natural choice for my app since it’s hosted on AWS EC2. I use AWS Route 53 for domain registration and then verify the sending domain in SES. So far, so good, and the cost is acceptable. For outbound emails, it’s $0.10 per 1,000 emails plus $0.12 per gigabyte (GB) of attachment data you send.
