Before I sign up with SHOPIFY, please confirm extactly which documents I need to upload for product and picture information/descriptions. I will be requesting from various vendors and will need to let them know what to send me. Thanks

You can bulk upload your products to Shopify using CSV files. For more information on which attributes you need to include in the file as well as its format, refer to https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/products/import-export/using-csv (there is a downloadable sample CSV file)
And if you plan to sync your products to other marketplaces like Google Shopping, Amazon, etc. ensure that your file also has the attributes those platforms require
