Yes, seems strange you can’t select directly from the Content > Files in the product page. My workaround is to open the Content > Files and click on the copy link icon for the required image and then paste into the ‘insert from URL’ option.

Yes, I was hoping that instead of uploading again from desktop there should be way to select the images from content file. What’s the point of uploading into content file when not able to use during product upload.

Hi, I have the same issue.

I tried this method but the problem is that it doesn’t import already registered Alt Text to each image.

Did you find another solution?
