Sell individual products in packages of either 10 or 25

Hello,

I have to sell products in quantities of 1, 5, 10 or 25 based on how the item is packaged at factory.

But our warehousing system needs the downloaded items to be 25 of product X … as single items.

So, the price of the product would be “per item” with the 25 x cost per item showing in the shopping cart and transmitted.

It would be like selling a dozen eggs. You can’t sell anything different than 1 set of 12 but you need to price and keep track of each egg.

What is the best way of doing this?

Maybe just modify your quantity selector to be a dropdown, where the only options are 1, 5, 10, & 25. You’ll also have to update the cart page to keep customers from altering quantities in a way you don’t want them to.

Thanks. I’ll try that out and see if it messes with other items in the cart
that can be purchased however you like. :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah, you should add a tag the products with a tag you can check for and only apply the changes for products with that tag.
