Originally I was excited about the potential of selling on Amazon. But two months in, I am DONE. If you are considering Amazon and will be using a 3rd party app to link your Shopify and Amazon, be VERY careful. Amazon is changing my titles and now they are changing the product altogether (I sell home decor and they changed one of my products to a motorcycle jacket!). I have sold on Shopify for almost 4 years and use several sales channels, all of which have been fantastic. But Amazon (I used CedCommerce) is a totally different animal that is hurting my reputation.
I’m sure some of you sell successfully on Amazon and that is awesome. But I have over 11,000 products in my Shopify store and I can’t keep up with all the issues. Only 520 of those products ever made it over to Amazon due to a variety of issues that I can’t figure out. Not worth my time any longer. Be cautious, my friends!
