Selling online when you have a Sales Team

Hi everyone, I have a sales team and online store. When we don’t have inventory in person a sales person can refer a customer to order through our website. To properly pay their commission, is there a way to attribute a sale on the online store to a specific person?

For example, Salesperson number is 10, is there a way for the customer to put that in the order so I know who it came from?

Did you ever find a solution to this? We are hoping to create something similar. I have done it in the past with a third party plug in, but we also use the POS feature to identify staff sales and the third party plug in made it too clunky!
