Has anyone found a solution to selling wholesale effectively in Multi Currency that will allow you to invoice a foreign wholesale customer in their local currency to pay later?
We sell in multiple currencies and have setup the Wholesale Gorilla App. All seemed to work well until I tested it as a foreign wholesale customer.
When got to cart view the prices were changed to our shops base currency (NZD) without converting the price. £300 changed to $300. This was then put into a draft order. So the price ends up completely wrong in the draft order.
Our products are produced in the UK so it costs us a lot more to sell them in New Zealand as opposed to the UK, so the price of our product has to reflect this: $3 in NZ and £1.20 in the UK and these need to be static. In our market we will loose many sales if we cannot display and sell in the customers local currency at a static price that does not fluctuate with the currency exchange.
Ideally we want to show customers the correct price in their local currency. And have them pay later “on-account”, so not pay at checkout but pay later once we invoice them as Wholesale Gorilla lets you do but breaks down at the cart view because Shopify does not let you create a draft order in a foreign currency.
