Very often, we have to ask our customer certain questions after they place their order. I am curious to know if there is a way to send email from the order page, and have the response of the customer logged in the timeline of the order.
Is this possible?

My suggestion would be you should ask these questions while user were on cart or on success page.
User could miss your mail.

Looks like the “…” button is no longer there, maybe it got removed in the recent update.
I found that I was able to send an email in the order page by click on the email under “contact information”, but the reply of the email get send to my admin’s email and does not get log in the timeline.
Is there a setting I need to set to have the reply get log in the timeline? or this must be edited via Liquid Code?
