Sense: Can't get cart type popup notification to work

I’ve recently implemented the Sense theme.

I can’t seem to get the cart type: Popup Notification to work.

When selected in the theme customization, it ultimately just operates exactly like “Page” and takes users to the cart page. I miss the pop-up notification that I used to have under the Debut theme.

Note: If I select “Drawer” that does work, but that’s not what I want. I just want the popup notification to work.

Note, when I check the JSON file for the main theme settings, it is indeed set to “cart_type”: “notification”, so the bug or whatever is in how it’s rendered, not in how it’s saved from the theme customizer.

Help!

Having the same issue also, when i add a product to cart nothing happens, no popup, no drawer, no new page. No action.
