Hi,

I have a webshop selling comic books. Mostly superhero books from Marvel and DC. I ship from Denmark and my main markets are Denmark, Europe, USA and the Philippines. How can I most effectively optimize my SEO for search engines as Google. I have a limited time to do it since the webshop is a side business to my daily job.

First, optimize your product pages by including specific keywords like “Marvel comics,” “DC superhero comics,” and related terms. Use unique product descriptions and optimized titles with relevant keywords for each comic. Don’t forget about image SEO, use alt texts with keywords describing the covers. Next, make sure your store is mobile-friendly and loads fast, as Google loves sites that perform well on mobile. For international markets, set up Hreflang tags so Google knows which pages to show in different regions (Denmark, USA and so on). Finally, focus on local SEO for Denmark by getting listed on Google My Business and building up local backlinks

Most Important (Do These First):

  • Write detailed product titles including:
    • Comic title
    • Issue number
    • Key characters
    • Condition grade
  • Add proper prices in local currencies (DKK, EUR, USD)
    • I probably wouldn’t worry about creating localized versions of each page type - you can probably just serve all markets from the same URL and have the currency/shipping info update based on customer IP (not best for SEO, but lowest maintenance option).
  • Get your shipping info clear for each region
