SEO related question

Topic summary

A store owner notices that Google search results only display their homepage title and description, while another store they created shows multiple page links (sitelinks). Despite setting up SEO titles and descriptions for all pages, the additional pages aren’t appearing in search results.

Likely causes identified:

  • Indexing delays: Google may not have discovered or indexed individual pages yet
  • Brand recognition: Google displays sitelinks primarily for established brand/navigational queries, not for newer or less-recognized domains
  • Domain authority: Lower domain authority may prevent Google from showing extended sitelinks

Recommended actions:

  • Submit sitemap to Google Search Console
  • Use URL Inspection Tool to manually request indexing for key pages
  • Build brand signals through backlinks, social media presence, and branded traffic
  • Consider implementing JSON-LD structured data
  • Potentially consult an SEO specialist for detailed guidance

The issue appears to be a combination of technical indexing and brand authority rather than missing metadata. Resolution requires time and ongoing SEO efforts to establish domain credibility.

Hi there,

I have an SEO related question. When I search my store on google, only the home page SEO title and description show up. However, for another store that I created, there is a list of pages that come up. I have set up titles and descrptions for all of my pages! Any help much appreciated. Please see screenshots for reference.

Ella.

The reason your other pages may not be showing on Google yet is likely due to indexing issues. Even if the titles and meta are set, Google needs to discover and index each page individually. Here’s what I’d suggest:

Make sure you’ve submitted your sitemap to Google Search Console (https://www.livwithin.com.au/sitemap.xml)

Use the URL Inspection Tool in Search Console to request indexing for important pages.

Like @moshbray has already mentioned to you @ellacoker it likely has to do with indexing issues from Google. I’d advise maybe finding a SEO specialist off a freelance platform to check it out and give advice on what you should do in a step by step manner.

@ellacoker From my experience, Google shows sitelinks only for searches it recognizes as brand or navigational queries.

In the case of “Samiya Skincare,” that’s likely seen by Google as a clear brand name — so when someone searches it, Google assumes they want to get to your website specifically, and offers multiple page links as shortcuts.

For the second website, it’s possible Google doesn’t yet see the query as a navigational one. Instead of showing multiple pages from your site, it may suggest a mix of other results it thinks are relevant to the keyword.

Assuming your technical setup is okay (pages are crawlable, indexed, and linked properly), the issue might be more about how Google perceives your brand. I’d recommend focusing on building up brand signals — things like branded backlinks, consistent social media profiles linking to your domain, and generally increasing the volume of branded traffic landing on your site. Over time, this helps reinforce the connection between your store name and your website in Google’s eyes.

Hi @ellacoker

Let me share with you one idea from another aspect. For search results from https://www.livwithin.com.au/, you can also further check if set up JSON LD Structured Data before, as some JSON LD related codes will make your search results appear like this as well. But like other posts said here, the clearer store structures you have on store, the better pattern Google will display in search results. So cheer up and may your store have better performance after further optimizations!

Hi,
Showing the SEO effect of a series of pages can only be decided by Google, and there is currently no code to achieve this.
The reason is that Samiya Skincare has a high domain level, so Google will show it to you
while the other domain level is not high, so it will not be shown
