The good news: My sessions jumped to 821 (up 103%) thanks to TikTok and Instagram. The issue: My sales are not following the trend. I suspect it’s a mix of payment issues and store design.
I’d love your feedback on:
Payment Trust: My Paymentwall (Visa/Master) is pending, and PayPal is “Partially active.” Do customers feel safe?
Product Page: Is my storytelling or price point appealing enough for global customers?
Mobile UX: Since my traffic is from social media, is the mobile experience smooth?
Any advice to help me turn this traffic into sales would be greatly appreciated!
Yeah, payment trust is probably killing you. If PayPal shows as partially active or checkout feels sketchy, people will bounce right before buying. The traffic spike means your ads are working but something’s broken at the finish line. What does your checkout actually look like to customers right now, and are you seeing abandoned checkouts piling up in your analytics?
For the trust issue, I recommend to take more care to your footer here, adding more business information might help. And also small details such as your business email address will affect how much customer trust your site
I think you can pay more attention to the design of your site, invest more in product images and improve UX, they came from video platforms where they have good impression of products but when they reach the site, it might be very discouraging for them to keep shopping
Hi there @HabitRoom First things first, your current payment situation is troubling so you need to find a way to sort it out ASAP. There are a lot of payment options to choose from or are you having issues with others as well?
As for the store, the mobile view experience is quite smooth. I didn’t experience any lagging whatsoever and it was easy to navigate through.
To improve customer trust and conversion rate in your store, you should consider adding FAQs and customer testimonials on the homepage.
Plus, the Add to Cart button is getting stuck when I scroll down. You are losing customers this way.
I suggest customizing your cart into something like a cart drawer. I personally suggest Shopify apps like iCart Cart Drawer Cart Upsell, or Opus Cart Upsell. Both are great options.
You’ve divided your product categories into four types, so try to make it easy for users to quickly find product categories in the header navigation. Making users spend too much time searching for products will also make them lose patience. Proactively helping users find the products they want to buy quickly is something we need to do.
The image sizes on your product pages are inconsistent, which detracts from the aesthetics and affects the user experience. After all, there are many more aesthetically pleasing stores out there.
However, I also noticed that your product categories are a bit disorganized. Have you considered carefully reselecting your products? Start with what you want to sell, products with high market demand, and reliable suppliers, while also considering your budget.
After you’ve prepared everything, don’t forget to focus on your website’s organic traffic before and after opening your store. I’ve checked, and your website currently has no SEO organic traffic. But only with organic traffic can you save on advertising costs; this is a long-term investment.
This is harsh, but it’s something all new Shopify businesses face. This indicates that the SEO keyword “Celestial Night Light Projector” is extremely competitive, making it difficult for your website to gain organic traffic. Therefore, you could wait until everything is ready and then use a low-cost Shopify app to help with your SEO strategy. If you’re interested, you can directly install our SEO app using this code: “SEOAnt-AI SEO40%OFF”. This will reduce your costs and help you analyze website keywords, as well as optimize your website’s SEO.
