Set Market based on B2B buying location

Hi Everyone,

We are setting up a B2B site.

We are looking for a way to set the customers market based on the location that they are buying for we don’t want them to be able to change their location themselves but instead want it to be restricted to the market that their company location resides in.

Does anyone know the best way to go about this?

Also, we haven’t got any localised version of this site yet, but it is something we may do in the future, is there ways that the language can be changed independent of the market? Asking now as we would prefer to set up the market restriction in a way that allows for this later.

We have a similar requirement for our B2B Shopify Plus store.

Make sure the company your customer is linked to only has locations located within the market you want them to shop in. If you have multiple markets configured on your store, you then need to remove the option of customers entering one-time addresses during checkout. It’s an option, you can set on the company:

This ensures customers only shopping within a single market, when logged in to a B2B account.

As for localisation, you can configure multiple languages on your market and they can be selected by the customer on the storefront without having to change location.
