I sell custom/personalized name patches for dog harnesses. I need to ad a field where customers can type their dog’s name in. Does anyone know how to do that???
You will need to add the customization line item to your stores code. You can use this to generate the code:

As you mentioned you need a field where customers can type their dog’s name. You can easily do that by adding a text field and this is very easy through Inkybay - Product Customizer app. Using this app you can add a text field on the product page where customers can write the name.
