Setup automated follow-up email on purchase of products from specific collection

Thank you! This worked perfectly. No additional apps needed. I lined out the steps a little more detailed below.

  1. Create marketing email

  2. Create Automation
    Marketing - Automations - Create Automation - Create Custom Automation - Shopify Admin API - Order Created

Start When: Order Created

then - Condition - click add criteria - order - lineItems - name (repeat this step to include or exclude additional items)
Check if: Name includes “XYZ”
then - Action - Email - Send Marketing Email - Select template - Your Templates - Choose the desired template (Add subject & preview text) - Save
Do This: Send Marketing Email
Run a test purchase to make sure your Automation is working. If it isn’t you can click into the flow to see where it is hitting false and stopping the sequence.
