A customer placed an order through Sezzle to my online store. I had to cancel the order through my Shopify admin. Sezzle then sent a refund to the customer. But on my Shopify, it isn’t showing that I sent back a refund. It’s still showing up as a sale. I attempted twice to click on the refund prompt on Shopify, but its saying “error refunding session”, which makes sense, since it was a Sezzle payment. My dilemma is that I was charged a fee from Shopify for making this sale, which was expensive, but I refunded the customer. I didn’t make any money from the sale, but Shopify still charged me. How is this possible?! I feel like I’ve been robbed. I reached out to support and they told me that it didn’t matter if it was refunded, they are still taking their item fee. Is there anyway to stop this, or is it just is what it is?
