I’m looking for a solution to share cart, checkout, customer data, and order history among three different Shopify stores that sell products internationally. Additionally, I want to implement region-based vertex calculations within these Shopify stores. Is this something I can manage through customizing Shopify’s code or by creating a custom Shopify app?
I would appreciate any suggestions or guidance on how to achieve this for Shopify Plus stores.
Yes it can be done with apps, why couldn’t it be, the cart sharing can be tricky without experience frontend dev as you can’t just share session cookies last I checked.
Use the api, or search the app store for store sync apps.
Unless your just gonna use an automation like mechanic to try and stitch stores together.
There’s not much more to build on your question as it is way too broad and very vague.
Try to ask singular scope questions, otherwise your asking how to get to Antarctica and someone is just gonna point south not give you a custom travel itinerary.
And what do you even mean by region-based vertex calculation if that means geographic region area that isn’t a shopify thing; unless you mean nexus as in accounting not vertex in which case see shopify-tax etc.
