Hi

Sheets and Giggles are using a very cool bundling function, does anyone know if it is an app or coded?

Hoping its an app!

And while where here, does anyone get the feeling that all the great functions on Shopify stores they creep are always coded. Or is it just me?

You might want to try the Easify Product Options app, which allows you to create collapsible product option groups (using Option Group option type) similar to your example:
