my website and online store is based in Indonesia and have been trying to expand my market internationally. I have added shipping rates for international countries and i have added different market for international customers. The market works well. However, when i tried to test and input shipping addresses (using my friend’s address) for international shipping, it kept on saying that the addresses is invalid. Does anyone know how to fix this? Did I miss anything?

would really appreciate it if someone could help/tell me how to fix this.

thank you!

Hi @nana98 !

If your international shipping addresses are showing as invalid at checkout, here are a couple of easy things to check that usually fix the problem:

  1. Double-check that the country you’re shipping to (like your friend’s address) is actually included in your shipping zones and has rates assigned. Even if you’ve added international markets, sometimes the specific country might be missing from your shipping settings. You can find this under Settings > Shipping and delivery in your Shopify admin. If the country isn’t there, just add it and set up the right shipping rates.

  2. Also, make sure the product you’re testing with is linked to the correct shipping profile. Sometimes products get assigned to profiles that don’t cover international shipping. Just open the product page, scroll to the shipping section, and see which profile it’s in. Then check that profile to confirm it includes the destination country with shipping rates.
