Shipping Cost based on cart value (after discounts) instead of product value

We want to offer free shipping over 100 USD. We’re using Advanced Shipping Rules and they only multiply the product value of all products in the cart - regardless of discounts like a Buy 2 Get 1 Free promotion.

This does not make sense for us. Is it possible to set shipping cost to “free” based on cart value (after all discounts)? I guess not possible with any app as they can only access product prices.. but Shopify native shipping settings maybe?

@katharina-awsm yes, this is a quite buzzy and painful issue. Unfortunately Shopify API doesn’t provide any data on the applied discounts in their shipping rates API calls to shipping calculation apps. We only get original product prices. I hope they improve it one day. It would be great to know if there is a workaround.
