Shipping Date when buying Labels

We’re running into the same issue - I reached out to Shopify Plus support a couple of weeks ago and was told that it’s no longer an option to change back to the 7-day schedule. I’ve been hoping that enough shops would complain and they would switch it back. This change happening without any notice has been super inconvenient for us as we pre-print labels before they enter production, which generally takes at least 1-2 business days already.

With Christmas the week after next, this change is forcing us to manually email almost 3,000 customers to notify them that they will receive their shipment confirmation email early, and that it will take 3-5 business days for their tracking to actually update. That’s a long time for their tracking to sit at “Pre-Shipment” and will no doubt increase our customer service inquiries when our team is under enough stress as it is with the holidays. Shopify deciding to make this change right before the holidays was so inconsiderate, and I’m sure it will cause more issues than it was initially implemented to resolve.
