We are a second-hand product company and we are looking for a solution within Shopify to let our customers send us their products so we can sell them on our website:
Customer fills up a form with its shipping information
We generate a shipping label with its information as the Sender and our address as a receiver
Customer receive this shipping label to send us its products
Ok so this requirement: “Customer fills up a form with its shipping information”
You would think a front end contact form right? But then there’s this requirement: “We generate a shipping label with its information as the Sender and our address as a receiver”. You can only generate shipping labels if there’s an order, so the after the customer submits their info there should be an order to generate a shipping label. The last requirement: “Customer receive this shipping label to send us its products”. This step I would think an email would be generated with the shipping label attached. Or a link to a page where they can print off a label.
I’m sure not all second hand goods are accepted, so there should be some conditions in the form. Also does it make sense to include a picture? Sending a free shipping label is the core problem however there’s a lot more to make this flow smoothly for both the shop owner and customer. The obvious starting point is on the storefront but man is this going to take creative thought. Sounds like you need a niche solution which odds are low in the AppStore.
