Shipping only charges for one item even if multiple items in cart

I am using flat shipping charges based on weight. The cart only charges for one item. How can I make the shipping charge cumulative? Thanks

I am having the same issue with calculated shipping. It charges the same for 2 pounds as for 3 4,5, etc all the way until 30

It can be some issues with the Shipping profile set up. Can you elaborate on your setup? I might help you after understanding it.
