I have created a shipping profile with 2 zones: one zone is Hawaii and Alaska. The other zone is the contiguous 48 states in the US. For Hawaii and Alaska, I want shipping to be $5.
I added every product to the shipping profile.
When I get to the checkout page and enter an address that is located in Hawaii, the shipping still shows as free.
How can I get the $5 shipping charge added for this shipping profile?
This should have ideally worked. Just double check if there are no errors from your side, otherwise reach out to Shopify Support. There might be some technical glitch.
Hey, thanks for your response. I have definitely done steps 1, 2, and 4. This is the first I’ve heard about a shipping class needing to be assigned to the products.
Do you have any other info on how to accomplish this? When I google “shopify assign product to shipping class”, I keep just getting results about the shipping profile.
