Hi all,
I am building a marketplace for direct-to-consumer brands and I am about to go live. However, I am facing a major issue regarding shipping rates. My marketplace acquires customers and the D2C brands then deliver the products to the customers on their own terms. Also on their shipping rates.
I am now having two companies with a shipping rate threshold. So that once a certain amount is reached, the shipping is free. Before that amount, the companies charge different rates.
I added screenshots to illustrate the issue:
- Supplements threshold is not reached. Therefore, the consumer should be charged 8€
- Coffee threshold is also not reached. The consumer should be charged additional 4€, so 12€ in total for shipping both products
As the products are sent from different companies and locations, both rates should be charged. However, Shopify only chooses the higher rate (supplements) and neglects the coffee rate. Is there any way to make shopify charge both rates?
If not, is there an app that could provide a solution?
